Student Recital Registration Form

The Vancouver/Burnaby Branch is pleased to offer two students recitals annually. There is no cost to participate in these events.

WINTER STUDENT RECITAL 2024 

Of Note For Teachers:

  • Only students of Vancouver/Burnaby Branch or STA members may perform.
  • Please thoroughly read the Rules & Regulations before submitting your students to the recital.
  • IMPORTANT – a maximum of 5 student submission per teacher AND total performance time of all students combined CANNOT EXCEED 10 minutes.
  • One piece per student; each individual piece cannot exceed 5 minutes.
  • Teachers must communicate times, location, and recital decorum to students.
  • Please advise your students that as a courtesy to fellow performers, participants should arrive 15 minutes before the beginning of their scheduled recital and remain until the end of the recital. 
  • Teachers are expected to help at the event and they will be contacted after the registration deadline.
  • NO CHANGES to repertoire or performance time will be made after the entry deadline.
  • Recital program will be available by 2 weeks prior to recital date. Participating teachers will also be contacted then to help out.
  • Spelling corrections must be submitted within 7 days after the program is published.

Of Note For Students:

  • Pieces must be memorized except in the case of accompanists (NO photocopies).
  • As a courtesy to fellow performers, participants should arrive 15 minutes before the beginning of their scheduled recital and remain until the end of the recital. 
  • Appropriate dress is required: dress pants, dress shoes, blouse, shirts, dresses or skirts.
  • Photography or recording is permitted of your own child only.
  • No photography or recording of other children/students is allowed at these recitals.
